Mission Statement:

The Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church is a Bible based ministry seeking to evangelize the unchurched and lost at all costs with the untainted Word of God. We are striving to become a multicultural, multi-ethnic ministry impacting the city of Auburn and the surrounding communities with the life changing message of Jesus Christ. Our foundation is the Word of God and we believe it in its entirety. We believe in One Lord, One Faith, and One Baptism that is why we choose to praise God and give Him glory regardless of our present circumstances, because we know that all things work together for the good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

Pastor Terry Duncan, Sr. was born on December 11, 1968, in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. He is the son of Mary Alice Weaver, and the late Willie Duncan. He was raised on a farm in Christian County nicknamed “Butler Town.”

He professed a belief in Christ at the tender age of 9 years-old and became a working member of the Edgefield Baptist Church in Pembroke, Kentucky, whose current pastor is Kenneth Jones, where he has remained a faithful member for 40 years.

Terry graduated from Hopkinsville High School in 1986. He attended the Hopkinsville College of the Bible and is currently attending the Andersonville Theological Seminary, where he enjoys gleaning from the rich history the college offers.

He is married to Cynthia Fitzwater and has been for almost 23 years. They have two sons, Steven Brown Jr. and Terry Duncan Jr.; and one daughter-in-law, Rachel Brown. They have four grandchildren Nariah, Nyssa, Nolynn and Nyles. These grandchildren are their bundles of joy.

For 22 years he has been an entrepreneur doing business under the name of Duncan Brick & Block, as a professional brick mason. In addition, he is the full-time pastor of the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Auburn, Kentucky.

Pastor Duncan says that the greatest gift he has received, in his ministry, came in 2014 when God called him to Pastor the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.

One of his favorite Bible verses comes from Isaiah 40:31, “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not grow weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

We are thankful for this journey the Lord has us on at this season in our lives.
